Version 2.5.13 - March 26, 2008
- It adds the ability to automatically fix data that was recorded as "DEMO" back to its original value once the product is purchased or existing licensing issue is fixed. This will occur automatically, but can only work on those records that were written using these new arx files. It cannot fix data that was previously written with a "DEMO" value in the record before this release. This only works with AutoCAD 2005 and later.
Version 2.5.12
Version 2.5.11 - November 29, 2006

- Fixed problem that could cause a crash in AutoCAD 2004 if a blank password was used.
Version 2.5- May 28, 2003
- Fixed a bug that caused the error "Syntax error in date in query
expression ..." after clicking the Ok button on the Plot Dialog. This
only occurred in regions where the standard date/time format has a specifier
of "a.m./p.m." with periods. This option is not normally used
on U.S. computers, but may have been used in other regions of the world
such as "English (New Zealand)".
- Includes support for interfacing Plot Minder with RePlot.
Any printing done with RePlot can now be tracked and billed if you own Plot
Minder.
- Includes support for AutoCAD 2004.
Version 2.3.2 - October 8, 2002
- Fixed a bug in which plots could be logged as "To File" when
plotting multiple layouts in a drawing file even though no drawing layouts
were actually sent "To File". This would occur only if multiple
layouts were printed and the layouts had a previously saved "To File"
location which listed a valid file name that still existed in that location
from a previous plot to file.
Version 2.3.1 - February 14, 2002
- The number of copies previously was set to one for plots
that were sent "To File." Now correctly maintains the copy count.
- Added Total Area and Total Cost to the *.csv file create
by the Export CSV Button. Note that the format is slightly changed from
previous versions. The old format can be created by holding the <SHIFT>
key down when clicking the Export CSV Button.
- Some of the reports were not multiplying the area
by the number of copies - this now functions correctly.
Version 2.3 - January 15, 2002
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug under Windows 98 operating systems only that caused the error
message "Cannot find the input table or query 'LocalPlotLog'"
on load of Plot Minder.
- Fixed a bug that made it impossible to switch layout tabs after a plot
if the Auto Detect for Plot Type was enabled in Plot Minder.
- Fixed a bug that may have recorded the incorrect effective width and height
on a layout with multiple views in it. It may have recorded the size of
only one of the views rather than the overall size of the layout containing
all views.
- Added code to automatically check on the "Save changes to layout"
option of the Plot dialog. Making changes to the plotter used, paper size,
plot units, etc., with this option unchecked caused Plot Minder to log the
last saved data rather than the actual data chosen by the user. A warning
dialog will also appear explaining the problem if the user unchecks this
option themselves.
Enhancements
- Added the ability to run Plot Minder under AutoCAD LT 2000 and higher.
- Added functionality for the new Plot File Module add-on that will allow
the plotting of plot files (*.plt) outside of AutoCAD and will log these
plots within Plot Minder. If your company utilizes plot files, you will
want to check out this new Plot File Module add-on for Plot Minder.
- Added 2 options to the Plot Minder Configuration dialog related to the
"Save changes to layout" fix under the Batch Plotting Setup section
and the AutoCAD Plot Dialog Options.
Version 2.2.2- October 23, 2001
- Added the regplotmind command to bring up the Plot Minder authorization dialog.
- Fixed bug where reports could possibly miscalculate costs in metric mode.
- Fixed bug introduced in 2.2.0 where default media was always used when
recording a plot.
Version 2.2.1- September 21, 2001
- Fixed an installation problem that would prevent the Microsoft Access
97 Runtime from installing properly when a certain version of Internet Explorer
existed on the target system.
Version 2.2.0- June 11, 2001
Bug Fixes
- AutoCAD R14: Fixed Effective Area bug which caused effective width and
height to be set to 0.0 or a very large junk value when selecting a plot
window for a plot.
- AutoCAD 2000: Fixed Effective Area bug which caused the effective width
and height to be multiplied or divided by 25.4 when no millimeter conversion
was necessary. This could only happen when selecting a millimeter paper
size from the paper size list.
Enhancements
- The arx files for AutoCAD R14 and AutoCAD 2000 will now automatically
attempt to repair a database that has been flagged as possibly corrupt.
- A new Local Mode operation has been added which will write
data locally to the users c:\cadfx\plotminder\local\ folder in the
event that the network databases cannot be connected to. Any data written
locally will be imported to the network databases the next time a successful
connection is established.
- A Wide Area Network solution has been created to allow the arxs to exist
on different LANs while all data is written to a single network location
on the WAN.
Batch Plotting Settings have been added to the Plot Minder Viewer under
the Plot Minder Settings section.
- The BatchPlotMind command can be used within AutoCAD to override the Plot
Minder Settings for that session of AutoCAD if desired.
- The function -BatchPlotMind has been added for use in script
files to force a command line version of the BatchPlotMind command.
- Plots with Pixel Units such as plots to TIF files are no longer
written to the database. Only drawings with Units of Millimeters or Inches
will be written to the database.

- Under Acad2000: fixed a bug that sometimes caused plot width and height
to be 0.0, effective width and height were correct.
- In the Plot Minder viewer: fixed some report bugs that caused the same
data to be shown for all Job #'s in the report.
- Added an option under the Billable Configuration to allow the user to
update all existing plot records to reset the billable setting according
to the new billable configuration.
Version 2.1.7 - March 5, 2001
- Under AutoCAD R14, if multiple sessions of AutoCAD were up, the plot width,
height and units were always taken from the first instance of AutoCAD that
had been launched regardless of which instance the plot was done in.
- When performing an installation, the setup now lets you pick which versions
of AutoCAD Plot Minder should autoload under.
Version 2.1.6 - February 17, 2001
- Fixed a bug that caused the Default Job # to be disabled on the BatchPlotMind
function after it was set in a previous call. Users can set the Default
Job # on the BatchPlotMind dialog every time now.
- Fixed problem that could prevent the installation of Access 97 Runtime
if Access 2000 was on the machine.
- If cmddia was set to off in AutoCAD 2000, then the Plot Minder strip wouldn't
appear under the plot window.
Version 2.1.5 - December 7, 2000
- The Compact Database option in the Plot Minder Utilities
now repairs the database.
- Fixed a bug in the Setup Wizard that would cause it to
exit when the Back Button was clicked
- Selecting First Numeric Folder did not write out the
minimum number of digits required and the select numbers only options.
- Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when deleting items
with quotes around their names.

network setups.

- The Job Number Auto Detect Method now includes a First
Numeric Folder in Path option.
- New option allows user to override the billable setting at plot time.
- New option allows user to change plot data or cancel writing a plot out
at plot time.
Version 2.1.3 - November 9, 2000
- When using the Last Numeric Folder in Path for Job Number,
the settings would always display the default of 4 even though another value
had been specified.
Version 2.1.2 - October 3, 2000
- DAO now installs properly using the Administrator installation. In some
situations, this prevented data from showing up in the viewer.
- Fixed problem with using double quotes (") in plotter names/job #'s/media/plot
types etc.
Version 2.1.1 - August 16, 2000
- The "BatchPlotMind" command now works properly when batch plotting
under Release 14.
- The "common dialog control" version will be updated if an older
version is encountered.
- Release 14 plotters are now detected better under network installations.
